I’m often asked where I source my home furnishings, whether for my own home or for our clients. While it may seem like a simple question, the answer is actually quite layered. To truly understand what goes into sourcing the right pieces for a home or a specific client, you first have to consider a few key components:
What is your personal style?
How do you want to live?
What do you value?
For example, I tend to follow the philosophy of “high/low” or what I like to call “jeans and pearls.” Not everything in your home needs to be precious or an investment piece. The key is knowing where to spend and where to scale back. That balance looks different for everyone and ultimately comes down to the three questions above.
After our Homeworthy episode (linked here) was released, we received a large influx of comments and DMs asking about the sources for specific furniture, art, and accessories. While we weren’t able to respond to each one individually, we thought the best solution was to put (almost) everything in one place.
So, we created this guide to share KPI’s personal pieces, items Kristin is currently loving, and a few “jeans” selections to soften the “pearls” moments.
