KPI 2024 SUMMER RECAP

Kristin Paton Interiors

2024 Summer Recap

As the summer of 2024 winds down, KPI is reflecting on a season filled with exciting projects, personal milestones, and some challenges.

Our team kicked off the summer by capturing the charm of our Nantucket Town and Guest House project with the talented photographer Matt Kisiday. This project beautifully combines coastal elegance with a touch of classic New England prep, and we were thrilled to have it documented so exquisitely. That same week on island we completed the installation of our Nantucket Compound project, a serene retreat that perfectly embodies the island's relaxed yet refined spirit.

Outside the office, both Brianna & Augusta got engaged two weeks apart from one another in June! Congratulations!

In addition to our completed projects, Kristin was once again nominated for the New England Hall of Fame awards, and we’re proud to have submitted KPI to the 2025 Bullfinch Awards, as well as the 2025 Kips Bay Showroom, recognizing excellence in classical and traditional design. We are eager to hopefully see our work celebrated in Palm Beach!

Progress continues with our Woods Hole Haven project, where we made significant strides in design and architectural decisions. Set to be completed by Thanksgiving, this project promises to be a fun blend of coastal living and timeless design, just in time for holiday gatherings. Stay tuned for behind the scenes content during the install.

Kristin also gracefully balanced her professional and personal commitments this summer. She was by Scott’s side during his recovery from a biking accident on Nantucket in the end of June, and we’re happy to share that he’s on the mend and doing well! The entire Paton family thanks everyone who reached out during Scott's recovery. After Scott's clearance to head back to work, Kristin remained active within the design community, participating in the Nantucket by Design events and hosting a fabulous event at her home with Rob Bagshaw and Stark Carpet.

End of July we captured our Chestnut Hill Manor project with photographer Jared Kuzia. This stunning residence reflects our commitment to blending traditional elegance with modern living, creating a home that feels both luxurious and inviting. We can't wait to share more when we recieve the final shots, for now here's a sneak peek...

The PMC weekend is a staple weekend in the summer for Team Paton. This summer, Kristin, Scott, and Honor dedicated time to volunteer for the 2024 PMC (Pan-Mass Challenge). Myles and Eliza took on the challenge, riding in the PMC and inspiring us all with their determination and spirit. You can read more about that weekend here.

To round out the busy summer season, Kristin filmed a house tour of her Nantucket home for Homeworthy, set to air at the end of September. This behind-the-scenes look will offer a glimpse into Kristin’s design philosophy and the thoughtful touches that make her Nantucket home truly special. Be sure to check back on 'the latest' where we'll link the episode.

Before enjoying time off for the long weekend, we celebrated Augusta's birthday over a team lunch!

Thank you to our clients, friends, and industry partners for being a part of our day to day. Here’s to creating more beautiful spaces and unforgettable moments together... Party on!
