A LOOK BACK AT KPI'S 2023

Our 2023 Look Back is Here...

2023 was filled with so many exquisite design projects...

2023 went by in a flash, and with it, so many incredible changes and projects were put into place. From adjusting to our office move from Cambridge to the city, the completion of the extensive restoration of a historic Nantucket summer home, to a chic city flat, and new additions to the team, we have a lot to look back on...
Our first blog of 2024 features a rundown of our favorite highlights from 2023!

In March, we welcomed Veronica, as our Junior Designer to team KPI.

In the spring we completed the install for our Chestnut Hill Manor project and our Nantucket Town and Guest House project, hoping to shoot those projects in the new year...

Nantucket Town and Guest House Chestnut Hill Manor

✗ Nantucket Captains House

After several years in the making, we completed and photographed our Nantucket Captains House project, shot by Read McKendree.

The project was showcased this past summer in the 2023 67th Annual House and Garden Nantucket Garden Club's Walking Tour. During the tour we released a coffee table book detailing the extensive renovations the Captains' House underwent. The book will be available for purchase in 2024.

We were also honored to have the "backyard bar" featured in The Wall Street Journal.

✗ Contemporary Boston Pent House

This three story pent house in the heart of Boston required a full renovation. We worked alongside Matt Rider and his team at Niche Architects for this project The home boasts 360 degree views of all the cities iconic landmarks, the Citgo sign, the Charles Esplanade, and Boston Public Garden. We think the star of this home is the spa-like primary bath, clad with Calacatta macchia vecchia. The rooftop is complete with a beautifully appointed roof deck with a fire pit, entertaining space, spa, and cooks kitchen.

✗ Back Bay Flat

A revisited city project, with the addition of wallpaper, art, fixtures and furniture - the project now feels complete.
Shot by Read McKendree.

Outside the office, Kristin and her family sadly said goodbye to one of their fur family members and KPI mascot, Fred, in November.

We will miss Fred and his visits to the office dearly.

Our last install of the year before the holidays was our Brookline Colonial Revival project. See the behind-the-scenes action on our TikTok!

We're looking forward to seeing the completion of our projects this year in Nantucket, Toronto, Miami, Boston and Woods Hole!

All the best in the new year,

✗ Team KPI
